I hate how this blog looks

I should probably have children's services called on me for the amount of neglect I have vested on this blog in the past couple of months. I missed a whole summer's worth of movies to blog about, though I didn't really darken the door of a theater this summer because most of the movies looked atrocious. My love affair with Steam has yet to receive any type of documentation, and I haven't gushed about Redline, the animation masterpiece I witnessed last Friday, which you all need to see now.

Do you want to know the real reason I neglect this blog, though? I'll tell you why- it's hideous. It's an aesthetic nightmare that is only amplified when I am viewing it on a high resolution monitor.

I enjoy simple, minimalistic yet pleasing designs when it comes to websites. With my extremely limited knowledge of web design, I aimed to do that on this blog. All that entailed was changing the background to "Microsoft Paint on Windows 98 Brown" and making the margins to where they don't squeeze my text into thin pillars. The result is an ugly website that is reminiscent of an old Geo Cities site, and who wants that?

So, I am issuing a request. If anyone reads this, please come up with a blog template that will suit my personality, subject matter and love for minimalism.
